I wrote a long short story today. It's just over 10 pages and it is really pretty good. It is of course at the top of the Writings page. The Fight Of Truth. Go check it out! Probably do another one tomorrow. Trying to gear up for ICK. The lenght of this story is approximately how long the chapters are going to be in ICK. So hopefully I'll be able to keep up when I start writing the book. That's it for today!

Got a new guitar! That's the story I was wanting to tell. Sid loaned me the money for it. I swear I felt like the thing was calling to me while I was in the store. Now that I have it, I couldn't be happier. It's like it was on a journey or something and now it has found its resting place. I can't explain it, but I'm really happy with it.

Along with the new guitar I completely rearranged the equipment page in the vinosec section to look and function like the photos page in the vinosec section. This really cleared up a lot of clutter and makes things easier to find I think. Feedback anyone?

And now for the most entertaining news of the day... My roommate/friend Pureshadow has made a video using one of my songs and it came out amazingly well. The song chosen was Evil's Master from The Championship Battles and he nailed the placement of it. Totally. I got complimented by a power ranger today. Well, former power ranger. Now he's a voice actor and a singer for an absolutely awesome band. Of whom do I speak? Johnny Yong Bosch and my new favorite band: Eyeshine.

Oh, and ALTTF totally loved the latest incarnation of the main theme for mouse avoider (which is called Avoider by the way). So, now that I'm done with all that stuffage I get to move on to De Sent and ICK. Unfortunately I'm still on hold for that because I'm waiting for something to come in the mail and some stuff to happen before I start. It's related to that cool story I have to tell. Still gotta wait though so I can tell the complete story.

That's really about it. Oh, also if anyone goes to the Eyeshine website then I have been posting regularly in the forums. Feel free to chat it up. Also try to get their cd if you can. I've listened to it all the way through and I gotta say I couldn't be more impressed. I haven't thoroughly enjoyed listening to a band this much since I first started listening to Breaking Benjamin.

I suppose that is all for now. I'm really anxious to get started on De Sent and ICK. I really believe those projects are going to be very, very awesome milestones in my life. Moreso ICK. Though I do believe De Sent is going to be fully in the spirit of awesome.

Fourth (sort of) shot at the Mouse Avoider theme song. This may be my last try for awhile as ALTTF is about to give up on me. So, I figured I'd take one last really harsh shot at it for I gave it up to move on to other things. I got to see what it was like to put the music in the game, so I changed it to fit as best I could this time. I think... I dunno. I just feel like this is what it should sound like. This time, I got it right as far as I'm concerned. It's up to ALTTF in the end, but my vote is on this one. It's Avoider ladies and gentlemen. And it's in the player.

Other than that... I've got a cool story to tell but I want to wait until I can get pictures to prove it. So, badoosh!

Well he didn't like it. So, I cried and cut myself a few times... No, seriously. I didn't really like it either. So, I can't blame him for not liking it. I'm just anxious to get started on these other projects and it can get frustrating when there's something keeping you from it. Not a big deal though. My second attempt is already in the works and while it won't be 'bouncy', it will most certainly be something I'll be proud of making. Anyway... This isn't the reason behind my putting up two posts in one day. No... I just felt like ranting. Settle in suckas!

It's great to have a blog that you know no one reads because you can say whatever the fuck you want to on it. That being said, I really don't have much to say. I'm just getting really fed up with how my life is going and I really wish I could do something to change it without putting out effort but we all know I'm a lazy whore and I'm never going to accomplish anything unless it involves my unexplainably infinite levels of creativity. Which so far has kept me single, jobless, poor, and now self-loathing. Which is great because once you start disliking who you are, eventually you'll want to do something to change it. Though for me, I imagine that to be an undeniably long time from happening.

At the very least I derive the vast majority of my joy from my work and that manages to fuel my desire to keep on creating. The only downside is that I actually have to accomplish something in order to feel that joy... Um. Fleeting though it may be. Which again comes back to my laziness and that is ultimately my only real problem. If I could overcome that, then let's face it... I'd be unstoppable. I fear though, that I may never become as inspired as I should be to fully experience life which may leave me single, jobless, poor and self-loathing for the rest of eternity. Which wouldn't be so bad... Except that it is in fact... so bad. I guess that's about it. You may think on the pointlessness of what you've just read. Always remember though, that I warned you that I didn't have much to say in the first place. Also that if you wanted to say something, you could post in the forums. It's not illegal. No one posts in the damn forums. I swear I'm just gonna take 'em down and put up a pornography section on the site. Maybe that'd give you 400 or so people (per month) something to talk about? But then again, I'd be too lazy to make that happen. So fuck it. I'mma go to sleep.

Finished my first new song in awhile. It's the Theme Of Mouse Avoider. You can find it over in the player. I like how this one came out. It's like happy and playful and yet it fits in okay with Failed and Theme Of The Taskmasters which are the other two Mouse Avoider songs. Here's hoping ALTTF likes it!

Vince Doherty made me a new logo over on the left. Isn't that the bomb? I freakin' love it. Also if you follow the link and go to his MySpace page he's got the second song I did with him up in his player. It's called Lights Out (or Lightsout, I'm not sure how he spells it) and it is just as awesome, if not moreso than the logo. I can't wait for his new album to drop. It's gonna be rock-tacular.

Other than that my vacation in Oklahoma went as well as could be expected. I got some new speakers for my car. Played the shit out of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Umm. I slept a good number of times. Lost some money gambling. Lost a lot of money gambling actually. A lot. But it wasn't my money, so I suppose it evens out. I was depressed all the same about it though so I like doubly lost. Anyway...

I've been getting some great feed back on the TOA album. And I'm all anxious about getting the De Sent album AND ICK underway. I'll be starting those soon but first I've got a third song to do for Mouse Avoider which is gonna be a shorty but hopefully I can pull it off. It'll be the main theme and it'll be 'bouncy'... I'm told.

That's really all I have going on. It's good to be home though. I'm gonna hate moving back to Oklahoma just because this apartment is so welcoming... I... I'll miss it.

Oh, a super freakin' cool thing happened while I was home too. My guitar teacher like, had me show off to his class at this Votech right? Then he said if I was interested he could put in a recommendation and try to get me a job teaching there after he stops. So if I move back to Oklahoma, I may become a teacher at a real school. Which would be kinda neat. I dunno though. I'd still rather just end up staying in Lawrence if I could afford it. Even living by myself. Something. Just, something. Y'know?
