Working on a new drum sound for the new year. The Drum Solo in the player to the left is what I've come up with. It's entertaining at least with the reverb and whatknot.

I finished the new song for Mouse Avoider. It's very much old school me. It's called Theme Of The Taskmasters and you can listen to it in the mp3 player on this page, or the one on the Free Isht page and you can download it on the Free Isht page. I love the bubble noises in this song. Took me some work to record 'em though. Got my mic a bit wet.

That being said... Um. That's about it really. Nothing else new going on or being updated. SUCKAS!

I'm already knee deep in updates! Shiz.

The Vinosec section is up and running a bit more properly now. All the pages are accessible though it still isn't quite finished yet. I've got an interview that a friend of mine did (sort of like a 'question & answer' session) that I need to put up somewhere...

The Free Isht page is pretty nice. I need to find more stuff to add to it but at the moment it looks to be a promising addition to the website. The Photos page is quite barren but if you've ever wanted to see what I looked like back in 2003 then go check out "Vinosec 005". It's highly entertaining.

The Equipment page pretty much just carried over from the old version of the site with some minor updates. I didn't really see a point in changing it much because it does its job well.

Aside from that, nothing really new going on. I figured out how to do properly sized flash videos (again) for my never-updated video player over on the left side of the page. Also Saint Drizzew said that he'd help me take some videos later this week (maybe around Friday, so hopefully before the weekend is over we'll have some new vids up and I can put the old ones over on the Free Isht page).

Got a big project starting up on the first Sunday in February, so there will be some news about that as soon as we get a bit closer to it. Also I still need to do that boss theme for Mouse Avoider. And I'm really, really anxious to start on the full-length Taking Out Anger album (not to mention the rest of the 'Bands' series).

Miss me? I know I've been gone awhile but all is well and good and I'm back to working on this piece of crap I've come to love. I am of course talking about EmbracingFate.com. Quick update first...

All the pages have been set up to load within the site now so we're looking at reduced load times and better numbers as far as how many people visit the site monthly without having to place a counter on the main page. Yay! As soon as February is over we'll have some solid numbers to go off of.

The Writings section has been significantly updated with details for all of the new albums, three new short stories, and I even fixed up the paragraphing in the old album write-ups.

Haven't worked on any new songs yet, but I'm set to soon. Gotta write a "boss" theme for Mouse Avoider. My next project is going to be a full-length Taking Out Anger album (seeing as how I'm putting other projects on hold until I get a new keyboard, the next few months will be focused solely on the Four Bands series).

Other than that I really haven't been up to much. Got some neat new pics I'll be showing off as soon as I get around to pulling them off my camera and uploading them. Ready to get back into the swing of my "comic a day" style of updating. I'm taking piano lessons over at H.I.N.U. for right now in the hopes that someday I'll be skilled enough to get into a major university for a Composition degree, though at this point I think I'd have just as much luck waiting to get signed by a label or hired by a game company.

I'm also planning to start doing compositions by hire through the website as soon as I figure out pricing and how to make it applicable. So, if anyone wants a composition made specifically for them keep it in mind and pretty soon it might be able to become a reality.
