"LOST AND GONE, FOR NEVER!"

Just thought I'd do a quick 'report in' kinda thing.

No new major developments. Still working on the site designs and making good progress. The new music section is finished, so is the videos section, the guestbook is ready to go too. The extras section needs the link page redesigned and there is still the matter of the writings and vinosec sections.

I'm on chapter 2 of Ick. It may be slow going, but at least it is getting done. I write a little from time to time, paragraphs and whatknot. It slowly fills up. I'm on page 3 of chapter 2 now. Decided to take a break from stressing and play FFTactics for awhile and then I worked on the site designs a bit. I think I'm gonna go eat now.

"I want you to know... I'm here."

What's up?! It's been a week or two or something like that. I'd like to say that I've been busy finishing Ick, but really I'm still just getting started. I rewrote the first chapter last night and I'm hoping to start on the second either here in a few minutes, or after I wake up later.

Not working on any music at the moment unfortunately. All of my focus is turned to Ick. I DID however get to go to my guitar teacher's last class for this year (and possibly last ever) and I played the main melody line from Somber and I did this weird rock power chord improv thing. It worked out really well though and it was a lot of fun. I got some nice applause from the class after I played each and the class was really pretty cool. Hugh said something again about trying to get me to teach there sometime in the near (hopefully) future. It makes me think that I may move to Claremore whenever March rolls around instead of going to Tulsa or back to Kansas. It would be nice, not only to say that I have a job (even though it's like once a week and you only make $50 from it or something), but to go even farther and say that I'm a teacher at a Votech. Who knows though? I may not even get the chance and end up moving to Colorado or Chicago or Cleveland or something else that starts with a 'C'.

I have been slaving away at the new designs for the web pages. It's really going to be very similar to what it is now, but overall everything is going to look and function better. I'm also designing it so that everything sits wider than it does now (currently most of the tables are at a width of 700-ish. With the new design I'm hoping to make every page exactly 900.). It should make it look better on widescreens, but still fit without side-to-side scrolling on a standard 1024x768, 4:3 screen. I'm also going to be taking down the forums and replacing them with a new guestbook I just bought the right to use for $10. It works nicely and I look forward to no one wanting to post in it either.

"Update time again."

The new song over in the player is something I had submitted to Vince Doherty for his upcoming album; I Spit On Your Grave. It was rejected though and I recently got him to send me a copy so that I could put it up on my site seeing as how he wasn't gonna use it. It's really a great track so I'm gonna put it up with the other Unreleased Tracks whenever I finish the site redesign. Until then it'll be in the player. Also he's still gonna be using one of the other tracks I made for him on a song called American Made (as far as I know anyway). It also is pretty good so look for that when he drops the new album.

I wrote the first draft of the first chapter of ICK finally. I'm so happy about it too. I'm anxious to keep writing. The first chapter is still subject to change, but just knowing that I've got a good foothold on this novel really makes me feel a lot better about being able to complete it.

Old news. Taking Out Anger - Dark Anger is out now. Embracing Fate III has been reissued with four new songs (The Scariest Little Tune - Ever, Random Inc Domination, Antithesis, and Mid Night). Taking Out Anger - For Never (and Embracing Fate III) were both remixed and remastered to fit better with Dark Anger.

Unimportant news. Two of my songs are now being played on Cheese Factory Radio. I'm considering submitting more, but at the moment they don't have any dedicated listeners so it seems like a waste of time. I think it might be worth it eventually, but maybe those that read this could go listen and/or request my songs or something. The ones I've submitted so far are Culture from For Never, and Mid Night from EmFateIII.

Future news. After I finish ICK (which shouldn't take too long) I'm going to focus on doing two more albums this year, maybe a quickie at the beginning of next year and then I'm gonna start my next major project. It's essentially going to be 60-80 songs in traditional RPG style. The project is codenamed: Radiant Revery (Note: This is an actual, alternate spelling of 'reverie' just to clear up confusion. They do not have different meanings. I promise!).

That's about it for right now. Not really much else to report, thus the reason I haven't bothered to update in almost two weeks. I'll keep you updated.

Post something in the forums or else I'm just gonna get rid of 'em. No one uses 'em and they're taking up a button on the navigational bar at the top of the page that could be used for more content. Even if you just post random swear words... I don't care. Fill the forums up with whatever you want and I won't even bother to take 'em down.
