"Some people just don't like to talk."
The counter goes so slowly...
This part of the site is done. I'll probably work on the archive next because it is going to be a huge pain. I don't even really know how I'm going to do it yet... It'll be fun to figure out though.

"Updating makes me happy again!"
So I'm getting to the point where the finalized layout will be shown. For all I know this may be it... I registered my copy of the mp3 player and using one of the default skins I created a gray version of it so that it fit in better. I gave the archive and the guestbook their own sections and made the navigation links on the left side of each page a little easier to read.
I was told there was a width problem with the credits tab when using a 1024x768 resolution but I resolved this (to the best of my knowledge). I have yet to resolve the same problem on the video tab in the Media section however. I'm either going to have to get a new video player (which sucks because I really like the one I'm using) or resize it so that the font is so small you can't read the bloody thing unless you use the fullscreen option. We'll see what happens.
There are a bunch of new tabs on the site, all of which are empty at the moment. I'm going to go through one section at a time and finish putting in the content. This section will be the first to get finished because it's probably going to be the easiest. The Media section may be the last seeing as how I don't have any music to put up at the moment (though I will be putting up all the old writing work soon I hope). For right now just bear with me.
One last thing... I got tired of Modlogan and Webalizer giving me different visitor numbers so I decided to add a counter to the bottom of the blog. Watch as it magically goes up to unknown heights!

"I don't know what to do."
This is the new website design I was working on. I'm going to have to change the background and some other things about it, but this is pretty much what it's going to look like. Also, I know the links don't really go anywhere yet. I'm working on that. I just wanted to get the new layout up so that I'd have the drive to finish it sooner or later.
So, here's what has been happening since my last post. Most importantly, and most recently, I got robbed. All evidence points to my cousin and her new husband who she only knew for eight days before marrying and who has a rap sheet a mile long with stuff like grand theft auto, arson, burglary, etc. It probably has something to do with drugs because my cousin has had problems with that in the past and her husband appears as if he's all about that isht too. So, fuck them both and the people they got to help them do it. Oh yeah, at least four people were involved. Anyway, I digress.
What's missing? Well, it's not a massive list but it's devastating enough. Every single guitar (electrics, acoustic, and basses) I owned is gone. I had eight of them all together. My multi-effects pedal is gone. My digital camera. My Playstation 2, every single game I had for it (except for the two games I have autographed which are kept elsewhere), my Gamecube and every single game I had for it, my PSP and the two games I was currently playing through (Crisis Core and Final Fantasy II). My mother's big screen tv was also taken (though they took the wrong remote so that's kinda funny). All of my guitar cases are gone too including my big ass white coffin case. They also stole the charger to my Nintendo DS but didn't take the DS. So... Yeah. Obviously they were idiots and they knew beforehand exactly what they came to get and where it was. Just a coincodence I guess that my cousin and her husband were over for the first time earlier that night and it was my first time ever meeting the guy and that he'd never been in our house before. Just a coincodence that my cousins son was supposed to spend the night and that we had been out of the house previously for at least an hour to go shopping, but they waited until my cousin called and suddenly had me bring him home because he was "sick" (the boy sniffled ONCE the whole time he was with me) and then her husband called twice after that before we got in the car to leave to make sure we were coming and to tell us to hurry. Just a coincodence that my cousin had called my mom earlier that day asking to borrow money (had been asking to borrow money for the entire week) and asked her repeatedly when she was going to be home... Just a coincodence that my cousin's story about the whole thing has changed several different times and when we told her what happened she defended her husband and attacked us for trying to help her and the kids get away from this guy who, according to the police, just got out of jail on December 28th. JUST A FUCKING COINCODENCE I GUESS!!!!
Anyway. I'm moving back to Kansas the first of March and my mom is moving back down to her other home full-time. We're going to let the house go. We've been told that we don't have to stay here and that if we just leave it the insurance company she financed it through will pick it up and make a killing off it and we apparently won't get in trouble for it. So, rock on. We're out.
Before my shit got stolen I was working on this new design for the website. The background WAS my 7-string guitar but seeing as I don't have it anymore I'll have to change it to something else. I also don't have my camera so it'll be awhile before it gets changed. I'm really just kind of ranting. It's very upsetting to know that someone was in your house, stole your stuff and there wasn't, and still isn't shit you can do about it. We figure moving away will help. I at least know that it'll help me because I hated this place before we were robbed. Or burglarized. I dunno what the proper term is.
I'll keep updating the site as time goes on and I'll try to get everything working. The Credits tab and the Guestbook tab should both be working pretty well at the moment and if you go to the media section it should be possible to view the videos there in the new vid player. I'm still working on getting the registered version of the flash mp3 player but in the meantime there are three cover songs I did back when I had my stuff. One Metallica song, a Megadeth song, and a Final Fantasy song. I couldn't get the vocals right, but everything else sounds freaking magnificent. I can't wait to get back to recording after I get moved (luckily they didn't take any recording equipment, just the guitar-based stuff). I'll try to keep the site updated as best I can until I start getting the means to bring content back. Until then...
